Toni Franklin is a dedicated community leader and has been honored by the City of Houston for her economic development service and her service to the community. She has also received the highest honor given by the Greater Southwest Houston Chamber of Commerce receiving the Leon Rosner Award for Service.

With over two decades in marketing, public relations and business development, Ms. Franklin makes her mark in the community by being a lifetime member for 20 years of the Houston Live Stock Show and Rodeo currently serving as vice chairman of the Horticulture committee and on the School Art committee, a co-founder of the Sharpstown Area Economic Devolvement Association and the past Chair of the Greater Southwest Houston Chamber of Commerce. She also served as the vice president of the Sharpstown Management District and served as treasurer of the Interethnic Forum.

A fifth generation Texan, native Houstonian, graduate of Bellaire High School attending Stephen F. Austin University and the University of Houston, she served seven years as Senior VP of Business Development and Marketing for Tradition Bank working throughout the southwest community. She was the President and CEO of the Greater Southwest Houston Chamber and she was a patron of the Junior League of Houston for the last 25 years.

Since moving to San Felipe, Ms. Franklin has continued her community service and is a member of the Blue Bonnet Society, serves as the 2nd vice president of the Friends of San Felipe de Austin organization and she is a descendent of the original 300 settlers of Stephen F. Austin’s colony and serves on the board of the “Old 300” organization. She is a Rotarian and past president, and serves this year as assistant governor to District 5890. She attends St. John’s Episcopal Church.
