Britney “BJ” Jones has been a resident of Bellville, Texas, for 25 years. BJ started her career in Houston working at Opportune LLP in the treasury department doing outsourced accounting for various oil and gas companies. She quickly learned that the big city was not for her and committed to building a life in Austin County ever since. She is now the Branch Manager of Austin County State Bank, Sealy Branch and has 10 years combined banking experience in deposits, loans and marketing.
BJ is no stranger when it comes to the Chamber of Commerce, either! While working in Bellville, she served a three-year term on the Bellville Board of Directors where she helped with fundraising efforts, Market Day, Farmers Market and Remember When Dances. By joining the Sealy Board of Directors, BJ hopes to increase the bank's presence and involvement in the Sealy area as well as help promote the businesses that surround us.
It is BJ's mission in life to be a good person and live by the Golden Rule of “do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” In her free time, BJ loves hiking with her wife Marci, spending time with family, spoiling her dogs, listening to live music and participating in anything that involves being outdoors. She welcomes challenges and always looks forward to tomorrow.
