Dee Anne Lerma was born and raised in Sealy. She began her career in Houston, Texas working for North American Mortgage Company (NAMC) in the finance department where she was banking residential and commercial loans, pooling loans with FNMA, GNMA, FHLMC and private investors, and working with the national servicing manager. She moved on to become a founding member of a nationwide loan servicing company that eventually became part of Goldman Sachs, where she retired in January 2013. Dee Anne moved back to Sealy and joined the family business at Travis Abel & Associates Real Estate and has 39 years of real estate/mortgage/finance experience.
Dee Anne’s husband of 25 years, Frank Lerma, served in the Gulf War as a Marine and is currently with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. They have two fabulous adult children (Noah & Annabelle), and a new granddaughter. Dee Anne enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and serving her community.
