Laurie Michalke is a lifelong resident of Sealy. She has been employed at Citizens State Bank for over 40 years having started her banking career right after her high school graduation. Laurie’s hard work and dedication to Citizens State Bank has led her to many achievements. She is currently a Vice President and the Teller Supervisor. Her wealth of knowledge and drive to go the extra mile has contributed to the bank’s growth, and has earned her a large customer fan base.
Her love of helping and giving back to the community comes from her family who have also been lifelong residents of Sealy. She is the mother of two sons and “Gigi” to four grandchildren. In her spare time, you can find her cheering on her grandsons at the ballpark, football field or the show ring at the county fair.
Because she loves to give back to this great community, she is currently a Director of the Austin County Fair Association, Treasurer of the Austin Co ESD NO 2, and now a proud member of the Sealy Chamber of Commerce.
