Meet the new Sealy Chamber Executive Director

Chelsea Humes was born and raised in Santa Barbara, California. She moved to Texas in 2010 when she was recruited by Pappadeaux after graduating from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Hotel Restaurant Management. She spent 10 years as the front of the House Point Manager working for Pappa’s.

In 2017, her family purchased land in Sealy from her husband’s family when they opened Cast Iron Winery where they raise their four kids, Payton, Emmit, Kaia, and Wyatt. Her family loves to travel and spend time outdoors. Chelsea enjoys being active in the community and serves on the Austin County Rotary’s Board.

Chelsea Humes: “I am very excited to take on this role and be a part of our business community in Sealy. Right now, we are working on rolling out a new website that is going to give you access to electronic business cards, your own webpage through our chamber page with great search engine optimization, and so much more that we will soon be rolling out through orientations. We have been working on our golf tournament which sold out for players and had an incredible amount of sponsors participate this year. Our Thirsty Thursday networking events have really began to pick up. Our last one at Mesquite Mexican Grill had over 50 people attend.
